Support to the Executive

We inaugurated Ponte's Impact Assessment branch in partnership with the Special Secretariat for Policies and Promotion of Women (SPM) of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall.

Working closely with the Data Coordination Office, our goal is to enhance the culture of monitoring and evaluation of programs implemented by SPM.

In collaboration with researchers and funding from leading institutions such as Princeton University and J-PAL/MIT, we support the Secretariat in:

Designing General Guidelines for Program and Policy Monitoring

Mapping and
data evaluation

Theory of Change workshops

Projeto Mulher Cidadã (Woman Citizen Project)

Projeto Mulher Cidadã is a project by the Special Secretariat for Policies and Promotion of Women (SPM) in Rio de Janeiro that promotes citizenship, empowerment, and territorial belonging of Rio's women, especially those living in more vulnerable areas of the city.

With Princeton University's support, we have established a partnership with the Secretariat to understand the profile of the Program beneficiaries. The research is still in progress.

We understand that all policies impact women in some way, not just the policies implemented by the Women's Secretariat. Therefore, we intend to expand our collaboration with the Executive branch to other departments as well.
